In 2016, I received my Sushi School Diploma, and since then I now work for two sushi lounges called "Sushi Fumi" at Vandermaesen both in Zolder and Genk. The sushi chef serving us was very nice !

Don't recommend it, and you've been warned!!

At this restaurant the customer is wrong and regardless of how they feel it will never be corrected. The menu here is very basic besides their specialty sashimi dishes. Their specialty rolls are delicious and never feel like cover-ups for the sushi itself. Excellent, freshly prepared sushi. Also have a great miso soup, cucumber sonomono and pickled ginger. When telling the server, he said that I can go and speak to the chef. I was going to give a 2 stars, because I'm a nice person. Please make your reservations by calling in or requesting one online at least one hour in advance before dining, Fumi Sushi is a Japanese restaurant with a full bar and is  one of the most authentic Japanese cuisine restaurants in the area, We have an extensive range of traditional Japanese lunches and dinners, which includes all the traditional food items this country is associated with – from sushi rolls to tofu and much more. I've tried everywhere and I'm not exaggerating when I say you get the freshest fish, the coldest Asahi and the best service of ALL TIME here. Fumi is some of the best sushi in town. So glad Fumi-San decided to open back up! To start off the restaurant tables were not socially distant and the appendix's regarding safety protocols were significantly out of date. I love the ambience of this place, excellent for date night or just to treat yourself to a nice night out. Yes, they seem to be open for takeout. The chef shut me up and frankly nothing I could've said would've changed his view on me. Very flavorful, unique and beautifully plated. She said she would tell the chef. I've had way better quality and tasting sushi in Los Angeles. Only Fumi-San can rock omakase to-go this perfectly! Oh well, I guess somehow ugly photos can't be with it's ugly reviews.------------------------------------------------ Awful quality and awful service. I was beyond frustrated and on the absolute edge of my seat. Just head to Sushi Fumi to do it.

Their food is wonderful, fresh,  and flavorful. The fish literally melts in your mouth, like who needs teeth to chew when you go to Fumi. This place is smaller but fills up completely and definitely seems like the cool spot to be at. There are plenty of decent sushi places in the area.I won't be back. Sushi Bars $$ (310) 855-0006.

Whenever I'm in town sushi is always a must for me during my travels and I'm glad I found this one. All is welcome here. Check them out if you havnt! But I have to give a 1 star due to poor service.

For appetizers,- Agadashi tofu- creamy rock shrimp tempura ~ needed to have more sauce and not cold when served - edamame For entree's - albacore sashimi roll- ocean trout nigiri- yellow tail nigiri - wagyu nigiri - miu hand roll - tuna lemon roll- salmon truffle carpaccio - dynamite - tuna lemon roll Only thing that was disappointing was that they were out of toro that night. It came off very offensively and threatening.

The customer service is exceptional, the employees are very respectful and attentive to your needs. It was almost  unbearable. Hands down, one of the best sushi spots in LA.

Not only my favorite sushi place, they also have GREAT takeout, which can usually get pretty tricky with sushi. Sushi Fumi « Back To Los Angeles, CA. We ordered a plethora of food and everything came out great. Well, he’s still on the tempura section. Hopefully this time my posted photo will match my review. I ordered the tuna lemon roll and the moon roll with  spicy tuna instead of yellowtail. Food is incredibly fresh and delish! Usually 1 thing is ok or meh. Really great sushi, love the atmosphere (a bit noisy, but not overwhelmingly so). I can't explain how addicting this restaurant is.
