I think  have a pretty low threshold for cheap sushi but this wasn't nearly cheap enough for the quality. Lunch specials (large bento boxes with cooked or sushi offerings) are a fantastic deal at ~$6-7, if you can avoid ordering more sushi on the side.If you make an effort at conversation or are a regular, the sushi chefs and servers are friendly folk, but even if you don't, there's no snobbery here.

I love everything about this place. Sushi Avenue is our go-to spot if we don't want to venture outside of Decatur for sushi.
