They food was great!! Amazing place—always consistent. I am not sure what happened, but my husband and I went there on Saturday night at 5:10. Realize they're just opening back up, but always disappointing to make an outdoor reservation more than a week in advance, then get seated inside with no mention as to why our table was bumped.

We are already planning out next trip back. The appetizer (burrata with artichokes, prosciutto etc was incredibly delicious. MY NONNA’S NAME WAS ISOLA, A WONDERFUL COOK WHO GAVE ME A PASSION FOR FOOD AND FRESH, SIMPLE INGREDIENTS. The Margherita DOP pizza was amazing and I would definitely come back again! I realize with COVID that outdoor dining is the only option, but our table was on the sidewalk, so we had to deal with constant pedestrian traffic right next to our table. Very noisy, small dining area even with patio seating. We just sat there while everyone around us was getting their food. Ecclectic pulse. They sat us right away which was great, but then ignored us for the next 40 minutes. Whole street is closed off. Is Isola Little Italy currently accepting reservations? The food is always wonderful and the service equally good. Service was exceptional. We ate outside and it can get a little busy with passing foot traffic right by the tables next to the wall and the hostess stand. For COVID they have extra tables outside, which is nice. The pizza was excellent and so was the Brussel sprouts appetizer. Back patio lacks ambiance plus we were right next to the dumpster so this area needs attention. Their crust is insanely good and the service is great. It felt really strange and honestly I didn't want to give my money where I am not a valued customer. We had an awesome experience! It is fun to watch people go by and so it just made it one of the nicer memories of this stupid year. A great way to safely enjoy an evening out during these crazy times. We ordered the margherita and the salsiccia, both were great. Very good service and great food. Pinot Grigio at $10 per glass was also nice. It's casual which is nice and a short walk from our condo. I have vivid memories of my grandmother turning plain bread into amazing desserts, simple apples into incredible fritters sprinkled with a little sugar and honey, and even treating my sunburns with olive oil.
