Didn't enjoy my wine as much with no place to sit.

12:00 to 11:00 Sun. Tuna, yellowtail and salmon, 5 varieties of assorted sashimi. From the food, to the decor to the service. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a special night out.

Yes, it's that good. Not only great food and service: Fun! Excellent service, had a great time with the family. Great experience.

Designed by Atlanta artist and designer Todd Murphy, the interior is elegant, yet simple with organic, earthy elements closely reflecting the pure and clean qualities of Asian fare. The food, service, and ambiance are all just sensational.

Do better we have enough to deal with in the world, Always looking forward to a meal and a cocktail from UMI! Every dish here is innovative and consistent. Incredible service both from the kitchen and the wait staff, definitely recommend the Ito-Kase and sitting at the sushi bar to get the full experience. A must!

The Shrimp Tempura and Hamachi Kama are our favorites along with Crunch Lobster roll. Loved loved loved. Portion sizes are moderate here; since they do not offer take away packaging, diners should be mindful of the amount of items they purchase.

Very good sushi! The food was amazing as usual. They moved us to Kevin's section, who is an outstanding server.

Waitress and waiters were amazing and walking us through our meal.

“We can’t wait for our guests to experience the flavors of the cocktail menu and bar program he’s creating and overseeing.

The staff is attentive and make great suggestions. The moment you walk in, management to wait staff! Loved loved loved. He adds a touch of ingenuity to each and every cocktail, giving the libations the distinct, modern vibe we’re bringing to Atlanta,” says Umi co-owner Farshid Arshid. The atmosphere and vibe were just right.

Didn't enjoy my wine as much with no place to sit. Great anniversary experience! Delicious food and drinks. Great restaurant, the food was outstanding.

The salmon appetizer, tako nigiri, and hurricane roll were some of our favorites. Highly recommend it!!!!!! He was so on top of our water, drinks, taking our orders and running out the food.

Best sushi in the ATL and the way they set up the social distancing tables was genius with the mannequins.

Best Sushi in Town!!!!

Noise level is very high but still a great place for a date.

Our first visit to Umi after months of cancelled reservations!food was fantastic. We tried lots of things and were impressed with everything! YUMMY YUMMY.

Lived up to the hype! Food was amazing as usual.

This was our fourth time to UMI and it's usually excellent. Thanks to all the staff, Great quality service and I love the new outdoor patio area beautiful, Our waiter was so wonderful and gave the BEST food recommendations. I loved the decor and low lighting; it was great for date night. Here are 12 elegant cocktail bars to visit in Atlanta the next you want to wet your whistle in style. It was just ok. We were sat at our table within about 10 minutes of checking in but once at our table the service was SLOW.

Best restaurant in Atlanta!

The salmon appetizer, tako nigiri, and hurricane roll were some of our favorites.

Reviews can only be made by diners who have eaten at this restaurant. Well done, Umi. Just one of the best spots in town. No place we've eaten in in the ATL area even come close.

The service was also incredible. The ambiance/vibe was so much better there and way more comfortable for a party of 4. Definitely would go back. Very possibly second only to Blue Ribbon in SOHO. UMI Restaurant is by far the best Japanese restaurant we've ever eaten in. Tuna, yellowtail and salmon, 5 varieties of assorted sashimi. The atmosphere and vibe were just right.

Atlanta‘s best-kept drinks secret may, in fact, be Japanese.. Ultimately, I just miss being able to stroll in at any point during opening hours to enjoy a few cocktails, sushi rolls, and refined ambiance.

The food was amazing as usual. They did a great job with patio dining, providing more diners space to eat, yet keep socially distanced.

Did not disappoint!

Now's the time to support your favorite restaurants. The fish was extremely fresh. We loved it so much that we visited again September 1st for my birthday! Although this is primarily a sushi restaurant, there are hot/"kitchen" items on the menu.

Food was amazing and the waiters and waitresses were even better. The problem is that it is so loud, so cramped, and so dark! I will let my followers of 44k aware. Highly recommend it!!!!!! So much fun and the food is amazing.

Cool scene but great food as well. Valet Parking located at 70 West Paces Ferry, Valet parking is located at 70 West Paces Ferry Road NW, Bar/Lounge, Beer, Cocktails, Corkage Fee, Counter Seating, Full Bar, Non-Smoking, Wheelchair Access, Wine.

Excellent service, had a great time with the family.

Went with my foodie family and a friend from high school to celebrate my 44th Birthday. It’s hard to be so consistently good like UMI is. Menu.

You are invited to leave immediately after.

We took my mom here for her 50th birthday! Food was a tad over priced for the quantity but I suppose you are buying the experience and the location?Another side note - it was very dark inside. This time was just a different experience, and didn’t meet up to the expectations I had from prior experiences. Will not go back. The hour and a half timetable wasn't too bad.

1.

It wasn’t a big deal but was frustrating because our meal was rushed because the kitchen was closing soon after we sat down. Great service. Excellent food, service and atmosphere.

Explore menu, see photos and read 1839 reviews: "So so so good, but loud" It was our anniversary and the dinner was perfect.

The service was extremely disappointing. The staff is attentive and make great suggestions. It was just ok. We were sat at our table within about 10 minutes of checking in but once at our table the service was SLOW.

Service (from the waiter down) was a bit slow for a Wednesday. Did not disappoint! I highly recommend Umi in Buckhead.

Fortunately, the food was outstanding -- though this place is much more suited to "cool, snooty people" and not business types trying to have an enjoyable, lively meal.

Unbelievably GOOD!!!!!! Due to local restrictions, this restaurant may not be accepting reservations at the moment. Tonight was the first time I sat in the back dining room— Not my favorite! Opening Hours. Gone are the days when you found drinks with Midori on the menu at Atlanta’s cocktail bars. The Shrimp Tempura and Hamachi Kama are our favorites along with Crunch Lobster roll.

My birthday was ruined and i would rather give my money to charity vs being discriminated against. A few things to mention - was NOT a fan of the goathead mannequins. A little crowded and noisy but great service and food! They HAD NO RESERVATION Never have i been treated with such racism. So much fun and the food is amazing.

The only place to have sushi. Although this is primarily a sushi restaurant, there are hot/"kitchen" items on the menu.
