IMO (and I'm not sure exactly what kind of responsibilities the doorman are contracted to - there were 2 of them on when we were there) I do think the doorman could help staff out a bit more, especially with 'awkward' customers. There was a group of about 8 or 9 young guys/girls who rocked up while we were there, a couple of them sitting down with drinks they clearly hadn't bought from the pub and, when asked to leave started to get mouthy at the bar staff - who were being polite and just doing their job. Our Menu. Claimed. We had a couple of drinks and the atmos was nice and the food looked great when it passed us, although we didn’t eat here. We booked for 3pm and at 330 ordered our food, glad we did as we got the last two roasts! The carrots though were lovely!
