OH. We've released a couple of good tracks where I used a Rockerverb, but the Mesa is newer, so I haven't done much with it besides rehearse. Fender, Marshall, Orange, Behringer, Ampeg.
The cleans are fantastic, just as advertised - I really enjoyed them. I'm an orange endorsed artist, the only reason I point that out is to tell you I've tried pretty much them all a lot. Tough choice, both excellent amps. Not WAY too much, but it isn't the best for practicing at home if you have neighbors.

Maybe because I'm running at 50 watts? I need 2 channels, a bunch of headroom and a very bassy amp and love the warm Orange distortion (mids!). Also, I only need the 100 Watt, because I feel like they sound stronger in the lows. They have a bit of everything and an orange with reverb is pretty special!

Oranges really all sound like oranges to me so if you want the orange sound, just get whichever model fits your other criteria for features, like channel switching, effects loop, reverb, etc. the clean channel and the attenuator alone on the MKIII is worth the upgrade. Also, 100 watts is probably more than you need. The attenuator allows me. I love the Rockerverb dirty channel, but I'm not in love with the cleans. In a first for the Rockerverb Series, the MKIIIs include selectable output power options to manipulate headroom and volume, switching down to 70, 50 or 30W. Id stick with the Orange, especially if you think you will be doing any stoner rock, they really excel at that. Does the dirty channel sound like the MKII? Also it's worth noting that the new pics only theme is worth the upgrade, it's classy and with that 2x12 I play with, the amp sounds huge. Ok, Orange fans, I have few quick questions for you. Both amps are loaded with Orange’s chosen PM tubes, none of my own. The other question is whether to get the 100 watt or the 50 watt.
I am definitely going to get one of these as soon as I can free up the funds. I'd sell it, buy TWO CR120 heads and a new Reverend Sensei and call it good. Or would you recommend I try the new ORs? Wow, that is high praise for the cleans - I didn't expect to hear they were as good as Fender cleans. Sound- and volumewise any 50 watt would do, but as I am the lone guitar in a trio that tries to be fairly low in general, I feel like I need that extra bass. The Rockerverb 100 MKIII head combines over a decade of user feedback with a number of new details and improvements.

Got to compare these two lovely amps finally last night at band practice. Not really, the Rockerverb sounds much better. The clean channel was very good, not great. I used to own a Rockerverb.
I would make sure you try them out before you buy anything, but used is the way to go for sure. Just a cool character amp but definitely a bit less versatile.

All amps can be great, whatever you get don't overlook the importance of figuring out how to play WITH it, not just through it.

My Les Paul is the leading online community and marketplace for Les Paul guitar fans. But on to my question: which make of the RV100 should I get? Guitar, Bass, and other instrument amplification discussed here. Personally I would go with an Orange out of those two choices. My MKII is a 50w and the MKIII is 100w, used 2 values on full power.

I did compare both amps at 50w. Anyways, I haven’t played the Mesa, but the Orange is really good, I have no plans of getting rid of it. So, I finally narrowed down my choice of new amp to the Orange Rockerverb 100, I think.
