I called to get a spare one for a project build but I don't remember what the part # was. Maybe try cleaning the pot too. I never had signal problems with the Rolls RFX402. FFM1 $99.99. Taper is smooth to my ear, doesn't do the 70% of volume in the last 30% of travel like some do. I've tried the AMT LLM, Morley Mini, Boss FV30, DOD Fx-17 and the Dunlop.
If you end up replacing your volume pedal, the Tapestry Audio Bloomery Passive is a great choice. The Bloomery is longer but narrower than a Mini with a real natural travel to the treadle. Does it's job, easy to use and adjustable. I have a buffer at the in and output of my board.

Took a little bit to get used to the sweep (mainly where to place my foot on it for a smooth sweep) but now that i've got the hang of it, it feels like second nature. Which one has a more even taper? If I'm tuning between songs then I drop my volume pedal, If I hear a note out of tune while I'm playing I can look at me tuner and see whats going on without muting my signal. i'm really enjoying the new mini Boss VP pedal.
But again no Aux/Tuner out. It fits all of your criteria and is fairly inexpensive($99 direct). ok I thought you owned it already. I ordered the Mini with a great sale and I LOVE it. Now I am using a Pedaltrain Mini and the only way I was going to do that was with a mini volume or go off board. JavaScript is disabled. Then, recently, I started having very intermittent issues with my sound cutting out or getting really weak, scratchy signal. JavaScript is disabled. Naturally, it doesn't have a huge amount of travel, but that's to be expected with its size. It's set up to handle both volume swells and to back off overall volume when I've got some gain pumping my signal up, giving me more control over rhythm and lead volume.

And lastly, with the VP JR the "feel" and accuracy / control is supposed to be the best in the market, so how does the Dunlop mini compare to that? Interesting. Adjustable tension is a pretty fancy feature as well. Pretty good travel too considering the size of it! Eventually I did have a linkage problem with it.

I've only tried the Dunlop, but I'm a big fan. DUNLOP MINI. I don't have any experience with the Morley, but I own two Dunlop Minis and I love them. If that doesn't pan out, you just put 2 pedals I never heard of on my radar, which is exactly what I was hoping for here. No reason to check out other options as it does everything I want well all these years. It's a mini pedal and was really working out well for me. I had the VP JR and liked it but it wore out. Great pedal and doesnt feel awkward or anything. You may also want to wait a little for when DOD release their mini volume and expression pedals. The aesthetics are nice as well. Looking for it mainly for swells. If they both had the same size, would you then preffer the VP JR ? Tuner out on a passive volume pedal is a tone sucker if you don't use it without a buffer in front.
I'll reach out to Dunlop for the replacement pot for the cheap/easy possible fix. I had a Dunlop DVP4 Volume(x) pedal on my board for a couple of years. The Bloomery seemed like it had a volume jump at the top. can you adjust the minimum parameter on the mini so that it doesn’t fully mute signal? The Dunlop is the better of the two you mentioned.
This has the usual rugged Boss build with a metal base and a toughened plastic footrest on top.

Why did you change to the Dunlop Mini instead of buying a new VP JR? Size was good. Enjoyed the full-size version for quite some time and I tested the mini version briefly and found it entirely usable despite the smaller size. Sadly, all to no avail, because they are otherwise great, and that's why I tried everything I could to make them work for me. I've had mine since it came out.

Over that period of time, I've never encountered a single Morley volume pedal with a taper suitable for my needs in making swells. I was afraid that it was going to feel awkward under foot, but with just a slight resistance adjustment, it's super comfortable and works really well. Foot in the middle for sure. The 2 recommended pedals look really good! I think you would hit something in the back row. It still produces a very nice sweep.
